Getting started

Go from signup to your first scheduled post in about five minutes.

1. Create your workspace

Sign up at app.postfor.us with your email address. Every new account starts on a 7-day trial of the Pro plan — no credit card required. When the trial ends, your workspace automatically moves to the free Starter plan unless you choose to upgrade.

A workspace is the container for your channels, posts, media and team members. Most people only ever need one. Agencies typically create one workspace per client so that content and analytics stay separate.

2. Connect a channel

A channel is one social account you have connected — for example your TikTok profile or your company LinkedIn page. To add one:

  1. Open Channels in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Add channel and pick the platform.
  3. You are redirected to that platform's own login and consent screen.
  4. Review the permissions and approve. You land back in Postfor with the channel connected.

Postfor never sees or stores your social media password. Authorisation happens entirely on the platform's side through OAuth, and we only receive an access token that you can revoke whenever you like.

Free plan limits

The Starter plan allows 3 connected channels and 10 scheduled posts per month. Pro and Agency plans remove both limits. See pricing for the full comparison.

3. Write your first post

Click New post, then select one or more channels. Write your caption once and Postfor adapts it to each destination — character limits, mentions and hashtags are validated per platform before you can schedule, so you find out about a problem while you are writing rather than at publish time.

You can attach images or video from your computer or reuse anything already in your media library. The preview panel shows how the post will look on each network.

4. Schedule it

Pick a date and time and hit Schedule. The post appears on your calendar and is published automatically at that moment — you do not need to keep Postfor open or your computer switched on.

If you would rather let Postfor decide, choose Best time and we place the post in the slot where that channel's audience has historically been most active.

5. Check the results

After publishing, the Analytics tab collects reach, engagement and follower growth for each connected channel so you can see which content actually performed.
