Scheduling posts
Plan once, publish everywhere, and keep track of what is going out and when.
The calendar
The calendar is the heart of Postfor. Every scheduled, drafted and published post appears on it, colour-coded by channel. Switch between month, week and day views depending on how far ahead you plan.
To move a post, drag it to another slot — the new time is saved immediately. To duplicate one,
hold Alt while dragging.
Posting to several platforms at once
Select multiple channels when composing and Postfor creates one post per destination. Each keeps its own caption, so you can tailor the wording per network while writing everything in a single place.
Platform rules are checked as you type: character limits, how many images are allowed, whether video is supported. A channel that cannot accept your content is flagged before you schedule rather than failing later.
Post states

| Draft | Saved but not scheduled. Nothing will be published. |
| In review | Waiting for approval from a teammate. Used on Agency plans. |
| Scheduled | Queued and will publish automatically at the chosen time. |
| Published | Successfully sent to the platform. A link to the live post is attached. |
| Failed | The platform rejected it. The error message is shown on the post. |
Best time to post
Instead of picking a time yourself, choose Best time. Postfor looks at when your audience on that specific channel has historically engaged most and places the post in the next available strong slot.
Queues and recurring slots
If you post on a regular rhythm, define a posting schedule per channel — for example weekdays at 9:00 and 17:00. New content added to the queue automatically fills the next free slot, so you can batch a week of content without choosing times one by one.
Approval workflows
On Agency plans you can require that posts are approved before going out. Team members with the Editor role create content in the In review state, and an Admin approves or sends it back with a comment. Only approved posts move to Scheduled.
Editing and cancelling
A scheduled post can be edited or deleted at any point before its publish time. Once published, the post lives on the platform — delete it there if needed, since most networks do not allow editing a live post through their API.
